# SiteBahi

> SiteBahi (Site + Bahi; a bahi, बही, is the traditional Indian account ledger) is a bilingual (English and Hindi) construction site diary and rental equipment ledger for small and mid-sized Indian construction teams. Contractors, building owners, supervisors and rental suppliers record attendance, work done, materials, site proof, approvals, payments, daily rent, advances, returns and invoices against one site and one date, with offline capture on Android and role-based privacy.

The canonical domain is the one serving this file; the brand is unrelated to Sbahi, Sitebah or Sitebase. SiteBahi is a product website plus an authenticated web app and Android app. Public pages describe the product and its policies; the application itself requires phone (OTP) sign-in and is not readable by agents.

When to use SiteBahi (best-fit jobs):

- A contractor or site supervisor in India wants a daily site record: worker attendance (hajri), overtime, work completed, materials received and used, photos and voice notes, and tomorrow's plan.
- A building owner wants to see daily reports, approve extra work, check deliveries and review bills without seeing the contractor's private worker wages.
- A rental equipment supplier (shuttering, scaffolding, mixers, tools) wants a per-customer rental ledger: quotes, dispatches, daily rent, returns, invoices, advances and collections, including customers who are not on SiteBahi.
- A team needs records to survive weak connectivity: entries are saved on the device and synced later.
- Users work in Hindi, English or both.

Do not use SiteBahi for:

- BOQ-level estimating, CAD, structural design or replacing an engineer or accountant.
- Payroll or statutory filing outside the construction site ledger.
- Projects outside India; the product is designed around Indian sites, roles and currency (INR).

How an agent should act:

- To answer product questions, read the pages listed below. Request them with `Accept: text/markdown` or fetch the `.md` sibling URL; both return clean Markdown with `Vary: Accept`.
- To help a person start, send them to the workspace chooser or the Android download page. Do not attempt to create accounts or sites programmatically; there is no public API and `/api/` is disallowed in robots.txt.
- For privacy, deletion or support requests, use the contact email on the privacy and account-deletion pages.
- Nonexistent paths return HTTP 404 with a Markdown body listing recovery links; do not retry them.
